Bad Posture

I went to the Orthotics Dept at my local hospital.  I need to wear specially made shoes because of my cerebral palsy.  Walking affects posture.  However, nearly of the shoes I have ever worn hurt.  Only one pair have ever been ok, the problem is that they have very little therapeutic effect.  Now, the Orthotics specialist has to give a pair of shoes that do something and I accept that.  However, they also want to fix my posture.  This might seem reasonable, but my posture was never good.  If you were born with no hearing, you may want to hear, but you may not if hearing causes pain.  Walking in a certain kind of shoe causes pain.  I already have arthritis, and it will get worse.  But I rather live painlessly for sometime, that in pain for the rest of my life.
