Well, the result was not as we hoped. However, the loss was not by much, if you look for consolation in the score. The Conservatives hold the seat.
However, I would like to say something about Judy Dalton. She was my physiotherapist, and it is likely that I would be experiencing far more pain, if not for her.
I know she is deeply committed to Public Services, especially NHS and social care and Education. I do hope she tries again for political office, and if she does, I will be right behind her.
