My Vita Nuova

On the 7th of April, I received the news that I have been awarded a Small Research Grant by the British Academy. This essentially is £7000 to research my favourite topic, Japanese and Western philosophy of life, over two years. To say, I am so happy is an understatement, I am beyond ecstatic. I had almost given up on my being an academic, but now I can see a new life, my Vita Nuova. I am so thankful to all my friends and family for their support.
